Definitely on the expensive side for a cafe, and the food portions were pretty small, but DANG this place is nice. My iced matcha latte was AMAZING, one of the best I've ever had! They also did table service which was lovely. I had no idea they had an upstairs seating area, was a nice surprise! Thank you!
A must try. Falafel sandwich is amazing, their tea is exceptional and has a very unique taste. I tried the iced peach tea and it was really good they also have a bunch of seating spaces upstairs and space for students and group of friends. Everything is fresh I recommend this place.
This place is a resounding yes. I’ve had the falafel wrap twice now and each time was equally delicious and perfect. The interior is bright and clean, the prices are good, and they make their own bread. Not to mention the hydroponic herb garden. Highly recommend eating here!
It's truly hard to put into words how amazing the mezza is! It mimics the homemade, heart-warming meals my own mother, aunts, and grandmother have made. The teas are phenomenal, the owner has a sweet soul, and the fresh Arabic bread is unbelievably good! Thank you for bringing a taste of home to Halifax.
I had the good fortune of visiting this place after months of planning and I am so glad I made the trip this winter morning. The cafe is nice and cozy very a menu where everything is made to order! We had a pot of tea and their wraps and oh my god, would 10/10 visit just for the freshly baked bread because it simply fills up your soul! The falafel wrap was divine and you can taste the freshness! I cannot wait to go back and try out their other offerings, especially the mezze which has a choice of one or three sides you can choose and I would absolutely recommend to go for the fresh bread everytime!
This is my absolute favourite place to go. I get the Falafel with fresh baked bread and My girlfriend gets the hummus with fresh baked bread or crispy pita chips and it is PERFECT every single time. We like to share our food and everything we have tried has been amazing. This place has THE BEST falafel of any I have tried. The atmosphere is so welcoming and lovely. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind. There’s one main cashier(I think, because they are there every time I go) and they really make my day. They are so wonderful and kind and always quick to compliment you or remember your face. This is a favourite for my girlfriend and I and I couldn’t possibly love it any more. It is very affordable, and they do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I struggle to order my stuff, but they’re always patient and very understanding. I love seeing all of the plants in here as well. They take excellent care of the shop and keep it very very clean and pleasant. Thank you for everything you all do :) 3 -Wren

The service was equally impressive—staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that we had everything we needed. The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect spot to start the day. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I’ve been here a few times now, and every visit just confirms it, this is the perfect spot to get some work done while being whisked away into another realm by the sheer deliciousness of their food and drinks. I don’t have any photos to share because, honestly, I’ve been too caught up in the moment each time. (Maybe next time I’ll remember to snap a pic… though I make no promises!) So far, I’ve tried their scrumptious strawberry matcha iced latte (my new fav), the iced London fog, and the iced chai masala, each one a total delight. On the food side, the farmer’s wrap is fantastic, and the falafel wrap is even better! Thank you Tea for Turtle!.... oh wait, how could i forget their melt in your mouth Carrot Cake 10/10! Whether you're looking to chill, focus, or just treat yourself, this place delivers every time.
